OdpowiedzUsuńLuiz, in my opinion, the Warsaw Uprising was a crime not only committed by the Germans and Russians, but also by Polish decision-makers. The Polish authorities fled to London – others were supposed to fight! In the past, in war, there was a king on the battlefield! For heaven's sake, how could even children, small children, be allowed to participate in the hecatomb! When the war began of Ukraine, President Zelensky didn't allow minors to fight. His priority was to shelter children and women. He;s a true leader. The Warsaw Uprising – how could the flower of Polish youth be allowed to perish! People who could have been useful to the country in other, more important ways after the war! The deaths of these people were unnecessary – quite the opposite. I don't believe that the Warsaw Uprising is something we Poles should be proud of, presenting as a model of heroism. It was/is quite the opposite – it was one of our greatest national disasters!!! Glory to the heroes, but damnation to the decision-makers!!!

UsuńMy good friend, I'm not offended! I haven't been writing much lately because I'm dealing with family problems. People close to me are ill (and this week we'll find out if one of them will need another aneurysm surgery), my dad has a serious spine scan mid-month (and then the results of whether another surgery is necessary), and we're also waiting for the results of my uncle's biopsy. I'll also be struggling in a few weeks, as my employment contract is about to end.
Manuel, yes, I agree that genocide is taking place in the Holy Land, in Israel. A terrible crime. The UN is embarrassing itself once again (I wrote once before: the UN should be abolished). The most horrifying thing is that people who were the ancestors of today's Jews starved to death in Auschwitz-Birkenau and other German concentration camps.

My zawsze o 17:00 stajemy na baczność i wsłuchujemy się w odgłos syren. Nie mieszkamy w Warszawie, ale staramy się aby dzieci czuły doniosłość tej chwili. To już nasza rodzinna tradycja :)
OdpowiedzUsuńPiękne tradycja. Mnie delikatnie mówiąc na myśl o PW diabli biorą. Dla mnie, to nie tylko brodnia niemiecka i rosyjska, ale też decydentów ze strony Polski, którzy sami spieprzyli z kraju, a inni mieli walczyć! Dawniej na wojnie, na polu walki był król! Na litość boską, jak można było pozwolić nawet dzieciakom, małym dzieciom uczestniczyć w tej hekatombie! Podzielam w kwestii Powstania opinie gen. Władysława Andersa. Zełenski, jak rozpoczęła się wojna nie pozwolił by niepełnoletni uczestniczyli w niej, a priorytetem było schronienie dzieci i kobiet. To jest przywódca. Jak można było pozwolić zginąć kwiatowi polskiej młodzieży, którzy po wojnie mogli przydać się krajowi w inny, ważniejszy sposób! Śmierć tych ludzi nie była potrzebna, wprost przeciwnie. Nie wyznaję też "religii" o PW, że to coś, czym powinniśmy się szczycić ukazując za wzór bohaterstwa. Wprost przeciwnie - jedna z naszych największych narodowych klęsk!!! Chwała bohaterom, ale decydentom potępienie!!!
